World’s 50 Best Restaurants award ceremony that took place on June 13, 2016 in New York City. On June 15, Chef Andre started the Octaphilosophy US tour with Chef Jeremiah Stone to present an exclusive “four hands” gastronomic dinner at Contra on the Lower East Side.

This marks Restaurant ANDRÉ's sixth consecutive year on the prestigious list.

“The year already started full of wonderful surprises; we were so proud to have been awarded Best Restaurant in Singapore as well as reaching the top 3 of the Asia’s Best Restaurants ranking; also published the first cookbook of my culinary career – OCTAPHILOSOPHY which consists the creations and documentation of Restaurant ANDRÉ’s kitchen scene within the 365 days. The result of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list fills us with happiness and endless gratitude. It is a great pleasure to compose a new menu every single service together with my brigade; I enjoy sharing with you my passion since day one as well as deliver the best culinary experience to you my dearest guests. Our firm congratulations as well to Chef Dave Pynt and the Burnt Ends team for their entrance at No. 70 to World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016. ” — commented Chef Andre in his thank you letter addressed to his guests. 


After the US and Europe tour, Chef Andre will continue his tour to Nordic Europe, Australia and Korea.
