volcanic, sea or rock listen to salt it tells stories older than its merchants

Salt is an essential ingredient in our life. It's also a material and ancient glaze in ceramics. I aim to create many dialogue bubbles among soil, fire, salt, glaze and vessel. Between soil and salt, fire leaves its marks. Salt also connects fire and glaze. Glaze is the powerful proof between salt and vessel.

This creative work builds a kiln for Octaphilosophy. The book is our object, and cover as kiln and vessel. The necessity between book and its cover works like the intimate relationship as vessel carries food.
