FOLLOW THE DIRT ROAD…A HUMBLE
FARMHOUSE ON A HILLSIDE FAR FAR AWAY
A gentle breeze and thirty acres of verdant farmland, vibrant with this season’s crops greets you, amongst a beautiful landscape cradled in the majestic foothills of the Otways. Farm animals graze on emerald paddocks that blend into meadows glistening gold with the late afternoon’s rays. In the distance the sea is calm; occasionally catching the warm hues of a painterly sunset sky. We take you to Brae.
Join us for the debut of his first book published by Phaidon Press. Set against the dramatic backdrop of Australia’s landscape, his story is reflected in lush colour photography of his food and environment.
Chef Dan Hunter of Brae – undoubtedly one of Australia’s most exciting destinations – will showcase his hyper-local cuisine at Restaurant ANDRE. Chef Dan Hunter’s personal and symbiotic relationship with his land is reflected in his artfully executed dishes. His approach reveals a deep reverence for nature, celebrating native produce sourced from Brae’s on-site fruit orchards and vegetable garden, neighboring farms, and producers in Victoria and beyond. We welcome an exquisite menu that conveys Australian sensibility in the backdrop of our urban city.
Chef Dan Hunter’s book tour includes two collaborative events with Chef Andre at Restaurant ANDRE in Singapore.
